Final Proposal Format and requirements (see Rhizome commissions)

Your proposal should be in the form of a web page (or pages) that includes the following key elements:

Project description (500 words max) that discusses your project's core concept, how you will realize your project, and your project's feasibility. If you plan to work with assistants, consultants, or collaborators, their roles and (if possible) names should be included.

Mock-up -- demonstrating how your core concept may be realized. This can be in whatever form is most appropriate for your idea: that is, your mock up could be a visual representation of the way your project will look, it could be a diagram of how your project will function, or it could be a demonstration of how it would work. Feel free to annotate this mock-up liberally. In physical art, this would be analagous to a design sketch.

Proof of concept -- this is a small scale demonstration that proves that your idea could actually be completed. This demonstration could be in the form of a working model of some key element of your proposal, or could be in the form of a review of existing artwork that has achieved the functionality that you will be using.

Work Samples (Optional) -- examples of your work that are related to the key concept of this proposal.
